As you know, my beloved Amanda is finishing up an amazing 14+ years at Accenture. "The Firm" has been a blessing to her and to our family in many ways over the years.
The firm, and those of you that have worked with Amanda, have given her an exciting career, where she has learned an amazing amount, provided her great relationships, a husband of dubious value, the chance to live in different parts of the country and travel the globe.
In the last half of her time with the firm, she has been able to take a lengthy season where she could do many of these things in a (slightly!) reduced amount of time and significantly reduced travel schedule to make room for seminary studies, ministry service and raising (some pretty amazing) children.
I can't imagine another place that could have given Amanda such a great opportunity to 'do life' the way that God designed her - and we're thankful to each of you that have made this time such a blessing.
Soon, she'll be ramping up her efforts with Young Life Europe, spending more time helping the ministry meet the relational and spiritual needs of teenagers throughout the continent.
Please post any notes, memories, pictures or whatever you would like as we take a moment to toast Amanda and the blessing she has been and is to us.
